About this work

This sculpture features a vertical column of open, geometric cubes arranged in a seemingly delicate balance. Constructed from bronze or steel with a dark patina, each cube is slightly rotated or offset from the one beneath it, creating a dynamic sense of upward motion and tension. The piece begins with a single vertical rod, which supports the lowest cube, and rises into an increasingly complex cluster of interlocking forms at the top.
